Yayasan Ikhlas is an organization established under the Trustee (Incorporation) Act 1952 (Act258) on 5 March 2009 aimed at alleviating the hardship among orphans, disabled, faqir and those affected by any disaster and to give scholarships or incentives to individuals or groups for study, work, or research work in Malaysia.

Malaysia kini berada dalam keadaan kritikal dengan virus COVID-19. Terdapat 1,624 kes dan 16 kematian (sehingga 25 Mac, 6 pagi) di negara ini. Kita semua mesti pernah mendengar seseorang dalam kenalan atau orang yang terdekat dengan kita yang dijangkiti oleh wabak ini.
Hati kami tersentuh kerana doktor dan pegawai kesihatan berjuang 24 jam, malahan mereka kurang rehat bagi merawat pesakit COVID-19, malah mendedahkan risiko mereka dengan wabak COVID-19 ini. Walaupun begitu banyak usaha diletakkan, bilangan pesakit semakin meningkat.
Jumlah peralatan pelindung diri (PPE) untuk front-liner telah semakin berkurang akibat peningkatan jumlah kes di banyak hospital. Malahan, kerajaan bergantung bantuan daripada luar negara seperti China.
Akibatnya, ada sesetengah frontliners guna plastik sampah/apa-apa bahan sebagai pelindung diri.
Oleh sebab itu, rakan kebajikan utama Global Sadaqah, iaitu Yayasan Ikhlas bertujuan untuk membantu jururawat dan kakitangan perubatan lain di hospital yang merawat COVID-19 untuk menyediakan peralatan pelindung diri (PPE) seperti sanitizer, sarung tangan, pengimbas termal, peralatan pengudaraan dan barang keperluan lain. Peralatan perlindungan peribadi tambahan akan dihantar ke hospital sebaik sahaja dana yang mencukupi tersedia.Ā
Setakat ini, kami telah mengumpul sebanyak RM 32,490.00 (sehingga 23 Mac, 6 petang).
Sebanyak 40000 keping hand non-sterile glove, plastic apron (clinical use) 6000 helai, 500 litre hand sanitiser & liquid hand soap, 4500 stok air mineral dan pek makanan akan diserahkan minggu ni.
Pada masa ini, kita semua perlu bersama-sama dan berdiri teguh di belakang tenaga perubatan kita.
Apa-apa sumbangan, walaupun serendah RM 10 boleh perubahan lebih jauh dan membantu negara dalam menangani krisis COVID-19. Setiap orang di Malaysia boleh memainkan peranan yang unik dalam membantu. Jom!
Malaysia is currently in a critical situation with the outbreak of COVID-19 virus. There are 1,624 cases and 16 deaths (as of March 25, 6 am) in the country. We all must have heard of someone in our contacts or extended circles being affected by this outbreak.
Our hearts go out to our doctors and healthcare workers who are working against the clock without any breaks by putting themselves at risk of being exposed to the deadly COVID-19. Despite so much efforts being put in, the number of patients is increasing.
The number of personal protective equipment (PPE) for front-liners has steadily decreased with the increasing number of cases in many hospitals. In fact, governments rely on foreign aid such as China. As a result, some front-liners use plastic waste / any material as a personal protective device.
So, GlobalSadaqahās charity partner, Yayasan Ikhlas aims to help nurses and other medical staff in hospitals that are treating COVID-19 to provide personal protective equipment such as sanitizers, gloves, thermal scanners, ventilation equipment and other necessary items. Extra personal protective equipment will be sent to the hospitals as soon as sufficient funds are available.
So far, Yayasan Ikhlas has collected a total of RM 32,490.00 (up to March 23, 6 pm).
A total of 40000 pieces of non-sterile glove, 6000 sheets of plastic apron, 500 liter hand sanitizers and liquid hand soap, 4500 mineral water stock and food packs will be delivered this week.
At this point of time, we all need to come together and stand strong behind our medical force. Any contributions, even it is as low as RM 10 can go a long way to bring about change and help the country in handling the COVID-19 crisis. Each and everyone in Malaysia can play a unique role in helping out. Jom!
